(VOVWORLD) - Resolution 30 of the Party Politburo and the Government's Action Plan map out several new orientations and visions to make the Red River Delta Vietnam’s largest economic driver. A conference on the implementation of the Resolution on the Red River Delta’s socio-economic development and national security until 2030, with a vision to 2045, was held in Quang Ninh last week.

Vietnam engages in addressing international issues

(VOVWORLD) - A delegation of 100 Vietnamese military and police officers are working side by side with international forces to search for victims of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Turkey. This is the first time Vietnam has sent forces to a search and rescue mission after an overseas natural disaster. The Vietnamese government sent emergency support of 100,000 USD each to Turkey and Syria.

To mark World Radio Day, February 13, the Voice of Vietnam organized "Radio and Peace" talk to make radio broadcasters more proud of their job and more aware of their responsibility to spread the humanistic values. It is hoped that the talk will contribute to promoting cohesion and sharing, fighting against social injustice, and resolving conflicts toward a more peaceful and compassionate society.
