(VOVWORLD) - Maritime security has been exposed in recent years to many challenges, including disputes and violations of territorial sovereignty. Maintaining and strengthening maritime security is the shared responsibility of the international community. The current maritime disputes in the East Sea need to be resolved peacefully based on international law. (VOVWORLD) - August 10, 2021, marks 60 years since the US army began spraying Agent Orange/Dioxin in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum, the worst chemical warfare ever seen in Vietnam. Some 4.8 million Vietnamese were directly exposed to the toxic chemical and more than 3 million of their offspring continue to suffer from the terrible consequences. Over the years, the voice of conscience requesting justice for the victims has been raised at many forums. The struggle for justice for Agent Orange/Dioxin victims will continue with the support of compassionate people around the world.
