(VOVWORLD) - The last session of the 14th National Assembly concluded on Thursday, ending 5-year term from 2016 to 2021. The just-concluded 11th session have added the legislative achievements and set the stage for the next National Assembly.

(VOVWORLD) - Quang Binh province has launched a project to restore the upstream forest of the Gianh river in response to the Prime Minister’s call to grow 1 billion trees in the next five years. The project will mobilize community contributions to grow indigenous trees and restore natural forests.

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam convened on Thursday an online Ministerial Meeting themed “Addressing mine and bomb consequences and maintaining sustainable peace – Strengthening connectivity for more effective action”. (VOVWORLD) - National Assembly deputies elected a new State President and a new Prime Minister on Monday. With the election of a new National Assembly last Thursday, all the top positions in the State apparatus for the new term have been filled.

(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly over the past 5 years has made fundamental changes in the way deputies meet voters. After meeting them, deputies have conveyed tens of thousands of voter opinions to ministries and sectors so they can promptly address significant problems. As a result, public trust in the leadership of the Party and State has grown and the gap between the National Assembly and the people is narrowing.
