Vietnam, ASEAN set community building goals

(VOVWORLD) - The 51st ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) and Related Meetings will begin in Singapore Thursday. Participants will discuss orientations and solutions to build an ASEAN Community, and implement master plans on building an ASEAN community in line with the ASEAN Vision towards 2025. Vietnamese delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh will present Vietnam’s measures to implement ASEAN’s priorities and strengthen ASEAN’s relations with its partners.

Legal framework for child care on the internet

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam, with 64 million Internet users (67% of its population), is among Asian countries having the biggest number of Internet users. A majority of these users are children and teenagers, who are exposed to both benefits and dangers. In addition to close attention from parents and schools, a legal framework is needed to protect children from the risks of the cyber world.
