(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam aims to have the digital economy account for 30% of GDP by 2030, coupled with a 7.5% labor productivity growth rate, becoming a top 40 country on the Global Innovation Index and a top 50 country in the UN’s e-Government Development Index. To that end, Vietnam needs greater support from foreign partners in driving digital transformation. Ericsson, a Swedish multinational company, has been operating in Vietnam for 30 years and has helped Vietnam across multiple fields. In our studio today is Denis Brunetti, President of Ericsson Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, who will discuss how Ericsson has engaged in Vietnam’s digital transformation journey and what Vietnam needs to do to further accelerate this process.

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam needs 200 information security experts to protect the information systems of the Party and the State and to train 5,000 master degree holders, engineers, and bachelor degree holders in the field. (VOVWORLD) - Google for Startups, an intensive training launched by Google in 2011, has been carried out in many countries including the UK, Israel, and Japan. 2022 is the first year the National Innovation Center (NIC) has worked with Google to bring this training model to Vietnam under the name “Google for Startups: Startup Academy Vietnam.” Google said the program is designed to fast-track high-potential Vietnamese tech startups by providing access to the best of Google's programs, products, and best practices. (VOVWORLD) - Ninh Thuan province aims to implement digital transformation across the province by 2030 to contribute to rapid, sustainable economic development. Under the national digital transformation program for the 2021-2025 period and orientation to 2030, digital economy will account for at least 10% of the province's gross domestic product (GRDP) and 10% of each sector.
