The first thing visitors notice upon arriving at Love Hill is the harmony between natural landscape and made-made structures. The infinity stairway, windmills, heart-shaped arches, and small European-style cottages are among the most photographed sights in Vietnam's northwestern region. Every season, the site refreshes its floral displays and decorative features to ensure a new experience for returning guests. Last November, Love Hill was recognised by the Lai Chau provincial People's Committee as an official tourist destination.
Cam Thi Tuoi, a resident of Than Uyen commune, said: "The views here are beautiful. The scenery is natural, the air is fresh, and the flowers and greenery are well maintained."
Love Hill has become a resort-style retreat with convenient bungalows, restaurant, café, and outdoor dining areas. Guests can watch the sun rise over the Muong Than valley and watch the sun set behind the distant mountain range.
Le Thu Thuy, a visitor from Hanoi, said: "I’m very impressed with Love Hill and its recreation areas, photo spots, accommodations, and dining services. My family stayed here for two days and had the opportunity to enjoy many local specialities. It’s remarkable to find such a high-quality resort in a mountain commune. The prices are very reasonable."
To maintain its appeal, Love Hill makes the most of its natural surroundings, providing quality resort services while avoiding overdevelopment in order to preserve the area's beauty.
Trinh Thi Ngan, owner of the Love Hill tourist site, said: "Visitors come to Love Hill throughout the week, but weekends are the busiest time. Travelers from many places visit the site to relax and have fun. In addition to domestic tourists, we also welcome many international tour groups who stay here and give very positive feedback. We organize many activities to promote local culture and traditions to visitors."
From an ordinary hillside and agricultural area, Love Hill has developed into a tourism destination that provides a new option for visitors to Lai Chau.
