(VOVWORLD) - In July, when Vietnam commemorates War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the National Historical Relic Site of Truong Bon receives hundreds of delegations who come to offer incense and flowers to pay gratitude to Vietnam’s heroes and martyrs at a place that witnessed heroic and tragic events during the war. Today it’s a "red address" that teaches revolutionary history to the young generation.

It was designed and built in 4 years by the French to assist their invasion of northern Vietnam at that time. The exhibition includes such traditional handicraft products as Thanh Tiên paper flowers, poem hats, mirror paintings, and artifacts of the Nguyen royal family, such as sets of cups family members used to drink tea and liquor. Exhibition visitors can try their hand at making traditional handicraft products guided by professional artisans.
