This year’s event has drawn 80 press agencies from across the country who have set up 130 booths covering politics, economics, culture, national defense, security, and foreign affairs with multimedia products and cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, 3D modeling, holography, and virtual reality.
The Voice of Vietnam presents its 80-year coverage of national development and its forward-looking digital strategy.
VOV’s Vice President Pham Manh Hung said: “The Voice of Vietnam is undergoing digital transformation by, first, developing a multi-platform digital journalism ecosystem. In addition to traditional radio channels, our two digital newspapers VOV.VN and VTCNEWS have received significant investment. Second, our radio channels have established a digital presence through websites and social media. Third, all content is now being digitized and distributed simultaneously on digital platforms. News and reports must be updated constantly and available anytime.”

A key feature of this year’s fair is the Digital Press Museum, a standout innovation that uses modern technology to make digital exhibits interactive. Visitors can explore important milestones in Vietnam’s press history through immersive displays, touchscreens, augmented and virtual reality, and 3D mapping technology. Old newspaper clippings, black-and-white photos, and the voices of veteran journalists are vividly brought to life in this digital space portraying the century-long evolution of Vietnamese journalism.
Other booths, using both traditional and digital formats, demonstrate the transition from conventional media to modern, multi-platform journalism. Many booths feature thoughtfully designed commemorative publications celebrating 100 years of the Vietnamese revolutionary press, highlighting its remarkable growth in the digital era and its enduring traditional values.
Tran Thi Thu Trang, a journalism student attending the event, said: “I feel honored to be participating in the celebration of Vietnam's revolutionary press. As a journalism student, I feel especially proud to be part of this legacy.”
Each booth at the National Press Festival tells a unique story. Collectively, they give visitors a deeper understanding of the remarkable 100-year history of Vietnamese journalism.
