The event was jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund. The 10 outstanding young individuals for 2025 were selected from 145 nominees submitted by 37 units nationwide, following two rounds of evaluation and online voting.
Each honoree has an inspiring story of pushing personal boundaries to innovate and contribute to the community. They have taken on leadership roles in passing knowledge, technology, and experience to the next generation, and launched startups to bring Vietnamese brands to the global market.
CEO Pham Chi Nhu of Coolmate, who helped make the company one of the fastest-growing startups in Vietnam’s fashion sector, with revenue reaching 38 million USD last year, told VOV that his aspiration in building a brand in the garment industry is to create a Vietnamese fashion label, rather than focusing on outsourcing and manufacturing for global brands.
“We’ve built a team that has mastered every stage—from design and product development to supply chain management, distribution, and branding. Almost all of our products are made in Vietnam, and 80% of our raw materials are locally sourced,” said Nhu.
