(VOVworld) – The 2016 Yen Tu Spring Festival opened on Wednesday or the 10^th day of the first lunar month, in Quang Ninh province. The festival will feature various festivities including procession rituals, art performances, and ceremonies and rituals praying for peace, good weather, and bumper crops. The festival is one of the biggest in northern Vietnam and will last for 3 months. Yen Tu has welcomed more than 250,000 visitors and pilgrims during the first days of the lunar New Year.
