Can Tho urged to make thorough election preparations
(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly Deputy Chairman Tran Quang Phuong has called on leaders of Nhon Ai commune in Can Tho city to fully follow the guidance issued by the central Government and the National Election Council to ensure thorough preparations so that the upcoming elections for the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels will be a huge success.

At a working session on Wednesday with local authorities on ensuring security, safety, and social order for the elections, Mr. Phuong stressed the need to strengthen professional training and guidance for electoral teams to ensure that all procedures are conducted in line with regulations, principles, and the required sequence.
Polling stations must be arranged appropriately, with clearly marked entrances and exits. Voter lists should be clearly posted, and there must be a plan to assist elderly voters and voters with disabilities in accordance with regulations.

Voters should receive clear guidance on how to distinguish between ballot boxes for National Assembly deputies and those for People’s Council deputies. Security forces must be deployed at polling stations to maintain order and provide support to ensure that the election is conducted safely, democratically, and in full compliance with the law.
