China objects to US innovation bill
(VOVWORLD) - The Chinese Foreign Ministry and legislature on Wednesday expressed their opposition to the US Senate's approval of the Innovation and Competition Act 2021.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said the Act "distorts facts, denigrates China's development path and domestic and foreign policies, hypes up a China threat, and advocate strategic competition with China.”
China legislature said the Act “is full of Cold War mentality and ideological prejudice”. calling it a US effort to interfere in China’s internal affairs and take away China’s legitimate right to develop through separate technology and economy.
