(VOVworld)- Chinese released Green book entitled “Chinese cultural development report- 2014” on Thursday. According to this report, during the period 2010-2012, Chinese cultural sector has grasped good opportunities and achieved outstanding results. On September 2009, the Central Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China has approved “Planning to revive cultural heritage”, shifting culture’s function from traditional craft to Chinese main pillar of national economy. Culture has become an important component to boost changing economic growth model as a new economic growth index of China. According to statistics, within the last 3 years, the annual average growth in value of Chinese culture sector surpassed 20% and accounted for larger proportion of Chinese national economy. Chinese Green book on cultural development stated that if a sector’s value added accounted for at least 5% of GDP, it becomes national economy’s pillar. Culture has steady become a pillar of China’s national economy.
