(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Information and Communications has released a guideline for the use of Bluezone, a Bluetooth-based contact tracing app, to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic all over Vietnam.

By Sunday, the app hit 2 million downloads, a dramatic increase thanks to widespread communications.
Under the guideline, all state agencies will request staff members to install the app.
Local authorities, civil organizations, and managers of residential areas will distribute leaflets to citizens telling them how to install and use Bluezone.
Restaurants, hotels, and companies should encourage their customers to use Bluezone while entering their buildings.
