Mr. Ha made the statement during an interview granted to VOV on the outcome of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue’s recent week-long trip to Europe to attend the 5th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Austria and visit the European Parliament, Belgium, and Finland.

He said, “Most parliaments supported vaccine diplomacy. They agreed to share vaccines with and transfer vaccine technology to Vietnam, so that the country can soon halt the pandemic, recover economically, and sustain the global supply chain, benefitting European enterprises with large investments in Vietnam. If Vietnam is affected, European supplies are also affected.”

Mr. Ha said that, many European countries pledged to continue helping Vietnam find vaccines and will consider providing Vietnam with vaccines as well as drugs and medical supplies.
