The fair featured Hanoi’s leading Indian restaurants, handicraft businesses, and “Incredible India” tourism booths showcasing Buddhist artifacts. Visitors enjoyed traditional dance performances by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, outdoor yoga sessions, and the intricate art of henna painting.

Indian Ambassador Tshering W. Sherpa stressed that the surge in bilateral travel in recent years reflects a flourishing relationship. India hopes to welcome more Vietnamese tourists while learning from Vietnam’s recent tourism successes, he said.

"For me, the most important element is people... We have similar values, similar principles, emphasis on family, on culture, diversity. There is so much of thing we can do together, and that's makes this partnership so special...This diversity, this partnership, this friendship, this warmth is what is special about India and Vietnam," the Ambassador said.

In 2025, nearly 750,000 Indian tourists visited Vietnam, a 50% increase from the previous year, placing India among the country’s top 10 tourism source markets.
