Lao Party General Secretary, President and his wife pay State visit to Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) -At the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam and his wife, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and his wife on Monday begin a two-day State visit to Vietnam.

The fact that Thongloun Sisoulith chose Vietnam as his first destination after the highly successful 12th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party shows that Laos values and prioritizes its relationship with Vietnam in its foreign policy.
The visit aims to directly congratulate the great success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and also demonstrates the high level of political trust and long-term strategic commitment between the two Parties, two States, and the people of the two countries in the future.
