The roll-out will first focus on major urban centers and then expand to all provinces nationwide. MobiFone's 5G network operates on the 3,800 - 3,900 MHz frequency band, which allows for optimal data transmission speeds.

The 5G service promises up to 1.5 Gbps, 10-15 times faster than the existing 4G networks, with remarkably low latency, which will benefit a range of high-tech applications, particularly those that require stable connections and minimal delays.

As of February, MobiFone's 5G mobile broadband has achieved an impressive download speed of 284.89 Mbps and an upload speed of 53.37 Mbps, according to data from the the Vietnam Internet Center.
