NA Chairman meets ambassadors and heads of representative agencies abroad
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has hailed Vietnam’s achievements in foreign affairs and diplomacy over the past few years saying they have elevated Vietnam’s international standing.

At a meeting on Wednesday in Hanoi with ambassadors and heads of Vietnam’s representative offices abroad, Mr. Man praised the role of the ambassadors and heads of Vietnam’s representative offices abroad in maintaining close relationships with host countries, and called on embassies and consulates general to continue fostering cooperation between governments and parliaments, promoting investment, and strengthening ties between localities.
Chairman Man said he hopes the ambassadors and heads of the Vietnam’s representative offices abroad will continue to promote relations between the Vietnamese National Assembly and organizations such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), and the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF).
