Speaking during the 36^th session on Wednesday, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan agreed on investment policies for national and provincial libraries efficiently. She said: “It’s a correct policy to promote the role of national and provincial libraries and avoid patchy investment given limited state resources. This view should be reflected in the Bill on Libraries more clearly.”

The National Assembly Standing Committee also agreed on the designation of April 21 as the Day for Books and Reading Culture.
