Party chief offers incense in tribute to Vietnam’s ancestors, President Ho Chi Minh

(VOVWORLD) -General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam offered incense to express his sincere respect and gratitude to the ancestors who contributed to the nation at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi on Monday. The trip was made as Vietnamese are celebrating the Party and the arrival of spring and ringing in the Year of the Horse 2026.

General Secretary Lam prayed for the ancestors' blessings for national peace and prosperity, and for the people's well-being and happiness. He requested that officials and staff of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel continue to restore, preserve, and promote the heritage, introduce it to domestic and international tourists, demonstrate pride in the historical values of the Vietnamese nation and of Thang Long, now Hanoi.

Also on Monday morning, General Secretary Lam visited and offered incense in remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh at House 67 within the Presidential Palace. House 67, where the President breathed his last, preserves many relics associated with his life and career. Party leader Lam offered incense, commemorating President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people. His name and legacy will forever remain with our country and live on in the hearts of the Vietnamese people and humanity.
The Party leader commended the historical site’s efforts in preserving and safeguarding valuable documents and artifacts about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh.
