Hanoi Spring Flower Market attracts 30,000 visitors

(VOVWORLD) - More than 30,000 visits were reported over the past 18 days of the 2026 Spring Flower Market in Hanoi, a cultural highlight of Lunar New Year celebrations in the capital city.

The event took place from January 30th to February 16th, with visitor numbers spiking in the weekend. Its official fanpage on Facebook also recorded nearly 200,000 interactions.

The Hanoi Old Quarter's Spring Flower Market, previously called "Hang Luoc Street's Spring Flower Market", was founded in the 1920s and has become a cultural traditions of Hanoians. The flower market still keeps many of its unique features after more than a century.

This year, the flower market was expanded to Hang Khoai, Hang Ruoi, Hang Ma, and Phung Hung mural streets, with three separate zones of the Tet flower market, traditional craft village, and folk art spaces to make shopping and sightseeing more convenient. Phung Hung mural street, in particular, attracted a large number of tourists for its experiential spaces.

The 2026 Spring Flower Market is organized by the Hoan Kiem ward People's Committee and the Dong Xuan JSC.
