Chairing a hybrid meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday to review the sector’s performance in 2024 and work out tasks in 2025, the Prime Minister urged for  breakthroughs with innovative thinking and strategic vision to accomplish tasks and achieve the set goals.

"The Vietnamese people’s thousands-year-old culture is the nation's eternal strength. Developing physical activities and sports is an objective requirement, contributing to the formation of a healthy nation and helping people become fit."

"Tourism is a key economic sector. Therefore, the Culture, Sports and Tourism plays an extremely important role, has a profound impact, and of urgent and long-term strategic significance for economic and social development and national defense."

PM Chinh said he hopes that the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector will uphold its traditions and achievements, helping to create a solid foundation for the country to enter an era of rise.
