Residents expressed their joy at moving into new, solid homes, and receiving practical gifts such as television sets and refrigerators donated by organizations and benefactors, helping them celebrate a warmer and more comfortable Lunar New Year.

“Thanks to the Quang Trung campaign launched by the Prime Minister, we now live in this resettlement area. We can finally settle down and work toward a happier and more prosperous life," a local beneficiary said.

Another local resident expressed his happiness and deep gratefulness to the State and benefactors for caring and building houses for them, saying, “Our homes are fully equipped, with separate rooms for the children. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank the State."

During conversations with resettlers, Prime Minister Chinh emphasized that building the resettlement area goes beyond addressing immediate housing needs. It carries long-term significance by laying a solid foundation for people to feel secure in rebuilding their lives, stabilizing livelihoods, and pursuing sustainable economic development.

He said it’s encouraging to see the resettlement area completed and called for the next step to urgently review and improve the planning to make it greener, more beautiful, and better equipped with cultural and community facilities.

“We must identify the most convenient locations to build nurseries, kindergartens, and schools for children. It is also important to commend the people for joining hands with the Party and the State in these efforts. Moving forward, we must continue to uphold the spirit of self-reliance and resilience to build this into a model village," said Mr. Chinh.
