(VOVWORLD) - A Hanoi conference on Monday announced the Politburo decision on the authority, functions, tasks, organizational structures, and working relations of the 13 Party agencies and central socio-political organizations.

Party General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the event.
The 13 agencies and organizations are the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Nhan Dan (People) newspaper, the Communist Review, the Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Vietnam Women’s Union Central Committee, the Vietnam Farmers’ Union Central Committee, and the Vietnam War Veterans’ Association.
Party leader Lam insisted that the restructuring of 13 agencies from 19 agencies was carried out quickly to improve effectiveness and efficiency, meeting the requirements of the new situation.
He asked the restructured agencies to ensure operational continuity and underlined the spirit of determination, urgency, and responsibility of the 13 agencies so as to rearrange the other agencies of the Government, the National Assembly, and localities.
