(VOVWORLD) -More than 1,700 voters of Electoral Unit No. 2 in Quang Ninh province attended a meeting on Wednesday to hear the action programs of five candidates running for the 16th National Assembly.

Electoral Unit No.2 comprises 11 wards: Tuan Chau, Viet Hung, Bai Chay, Cao Xanh, Hong Gai, Ha Lam, Ha Long, Ha Tu, Quang Hanh, Cam Pha, and Cua Ong.
Voters expressed their hope that elected candidates—with their strong qualifications, professional capacity, and extensive practical experience—will faithfully convey the opinions, concerns, and aspirations of the people of Quang Ninh at National Assembly forums.
Nguyen Van Phuc from Hong Gai ward said, "We, the voters, hope these National Assembly candidates, if elected, will forward our voices to the central authorities to consider specific policies for Quang Ninh that tap our potential and strengths, especially in tourism, services, exports, and job creation.”
“This will enable Quang Ninh to be a pioneer in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation and worthy in its role as a dynamic growth pole of the northern region," said Phuc.
