Vietnam has established Comprehensive Strategic Partnerships with 14 countries, including all permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and many ASEAN countries, including Thailand. This underscores Vietnam’s importance in the regional and broader geopolitical architecture.
Admiring Vietnam’s achievements in the 2021-2025 period, the Thai scholar expressed confidence that the upcoming 14th National Party Congress would adopt breakthrough decisions to achieve two major goals: turning Vietnam into a high-income developing country by the 100th anniversary of the Party’s founding in 2030, and into a developed country by the 100th anniversary of the nation’s founding in 2045.
