(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang has been on a working visit to the central province of Binh Dinh. He conducted a fact-finding tour of fishing activities in Tam Quan estuary, visited and presented gifts to social beneficiaries and poor households in the province’s low-land areas.

President Sang also visited Nhon Hoi economic zone. Covering an area of 12,000 hectares, the zone has attracted 34 investment projects worth 1.2 billion USD. The province is cooperating with Thailand’s Oil and Gas Group on a feasibility project for a petro-chemical refinery complex in the zone.

President Sang hailed the province’s efforts in developing fisheries and building new rural areas. He asked the province to make the most of investment sources to achieve sustainable growth in the future.
