Top leader marks Lunar New Year with calls for innovation
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary To Lam urged Hanoi, as Vietnam’s capital and political-administrative center, to take the lead in innovation, stressing that every initiative it undertakes and every model it implements should generate momentum for the region and the nation.

He made the remarks while visiting and extending Lunar New Year greetings to the Party organization, authorities, and people of Hanoi on Lunar New Year’s Eve (February 16).
“Hanoi needs to continue improving institutions to develop a new growth model based on science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and high-quality human resources. The Party Central Committee and the Politburo will always stand alongside the capital,” Party leader To Lam said.
Earlier, the General Secretary offered incense at the statue of King Ly Thai To and joined residents’ New Year celebrations at the Ly Thai To Flower Garden in the city center.
