US urges citizens to leave Iran immediately
(VOVWORLD) - The US State Department on Tuesday issued a statement urging American citizens to leave Iran immediately, and to consider departing Iran by land to Armenia or Türkiye if safe to do so.

The statement came amid widespread protests across Iran, with airlines continuing to restrict or cancel flights.
Iran is currently experiencing the largest anti-government protests in years, while the Trump administration is considering how to respond to the situation.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said Monday that President Donald Trump always “keeps all options on the table”, emphasizing that diplomatic solutions are his first choice.
