At the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the orientations and tasks for socio-economic development from 2026 to 2030 will be determined, along with the long-term goals, directions, and vision for national development until 2045, according to Dr. Sokolov.

He cited the Congress's documents as saying that all the people’s strength and resources are focused on implementing the three key factors: Unity and trust; discipline and breakthroughs; and human development based on knowledge.

“The entire nation must participate in this upward process; every sector, every locality, every agency, and every citizen must understand and proactively fulfill their specific roles. It’s also necessary to develop the country rapidly and sustainably, ensuring strategic sovereignty and the strong progress of the Vietnamese nation in the new era."

Dr. Sokolov added that the international community, including Russia, is following with particular interest in the work of Vietnam’s Party Congress. On the international stage, the successful organization of the Congress will provide important lessons for developing countries in their search for a development path suitable to their national conditions and characteristics, according to the Russian expert.
