(VOVWORLD) -A cultural promotion project called “Ao Dai Fashion Week London 2026” was launched on Tuesday, with the theme “A Runway of Heritage, A Future of Style”.

The project will take place from September 19 to 21 as part of London Fashion Week. The program will also include an ao dai parade at several of London’s historic landmarks.
There will also an exhibition of traditional Vietnamese handicrafts, including brocade textiles, silk, ceramics, folk paintings and handmade jewelry. A space dedicated to Vietnamese cuisine and regional specialties will also be organized, offering visitors a multi-dimensional cultural experience and opportunities for networking and trade cooperation.
Nguyen Viet Trieu, President of the Vietnamese Women’s Union in Europe, said bringing the ao dai to the international runway allows Vietnam to tell its story through art and culture.
