(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese embassy in Israel held a Tet celebration on Sunday. Ambassador Ta Duy Chinh reviewed Vietnam’s achievements and cooperation between Vietnam and Israel in recent years. He praised the effort of Vietnamese people to integrate into Israeli society and their contributions to the homeland.

The same day, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Sydney organized a get together to mark the new lunar year, which was attended by ambassador Le Thanh Nghi, the embassy staff, and representatives of Vietnamese agencies, students, and overseas Vietnamese in Australia.  

In South Africa, more than 200 guests, including representatives of South Africa’s foreign ministry and key agencies, and many Vietnamese people and students in South Africa, Botswana and neighboring countries, attended a Tet celebration held by the Vietnamese embassy on Sunday.
