(VOVWORLD) -The Lo Lo ethnic minority group believes that people have a responsibility to worship the ancestors who gave birth to them and raised them. The worship rituals are performed at the New Year festival, at the Full-Moon of the 7th lunar month, and at major family events such as building a new house or wedding ceremonies.

(VOVWORLD) -A Hler of Kon Koloc hamlet, Kon Tum province, is a role model in doing business and production of the Xo Dang. He has also helped other villagers to raise income and escape poverty.

(VOVWORLD) -It’s impossible to totally avoid misunderstandings and disagreements. The Xo Dang have a custom of making an apology in the morning to resolve any problem or disagreement between individuals, families, or hamlets from the day before.

(VOVWORLD) -The New Rice celebration is the most important ritual of the year for the Xo Dang. The villagers thank the Jade Emperor and genies and pray to them to be blessed with a bumper crop, full stock of rice and maize, productive animals, prosperity, and happiness.
