(VOVWORLD) - Ha Long Bay-Cat Ba Archipelago has just been recognized as a world geological heritage by the International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS) for its many rocky islands rising from the sea and, hiding inside them, mysterious caves that few other places have.

(VOVWORLD) - The Ha Long Heritage Journey aboard the cruise ship Grand Pioneers of the Viet Thuan Group began in July. The cruise takes tourists to most of the famous destinations on Ha Long Bay, where currently no other cruise ship is licensed.

(VOVWORLD) - Ethnic groups in the Central Highlands consider the gong a sacred musical instrument which embodies the God spirit. The gongs are associated with community ceremonies. K’Ho people in Lam Dong province dedicate a ritual to pay gratitude to the gong’s God.

(VOVWORLD) - In late June, Cat Tien National Park was the first national park in Vietnam received Green List status of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). This is a recognition for Cat Tien’s biodiversity conservation efforts.
