(VOVWORLD) - In the lead-up to the Lunar New Year (Tet), flower villages nationwide are busy to serve the holiday market. After a two-year COVID-19 hiatus, the Tet demand for flowers and ornamental plants has gone up.

(VOVWORLD) -The first truck loads of durians were exported to China last September via the Huu Nghi (Friendship) International Border Gate in Lang Son province. This paved the way for the fruit to finally be sold to China via official channels after years of negotiations. The initial success was achieved by farmers who changed their mindset out of a desire to bring Vietnamese durian to the world.

(VOVWORLD) -Ca Na village in Ca Na commune, Ninh Thuan province, has a 200-year history. In the Cham language, Ca Na means "underground rock", a reference to the area’s many reefs. Fishing has made Ca Na a wealthy coastal village in Ninh Thuan province.

(VOVWORLD) -Ha Nam province is famous for many traditional crafts with widely known products and a line-up of skilled artisans. A craft village economy plays an important role in the rural economic structure in Ha Nam, especially in generating jobs, increasing incomes for workers, and enhancing the rural modernization process. Local traditional craft villages are now trying to catch up with new trends to develop sustainably.

(VOVWORLD) -Ninh Thuan province is known as a hub of sheep raising in Vietnam, and Xuan Hai commune is the biggest sheep raising area in the province.

(VOVWORLD) - Ba Moi grape farm is 7km from Phan Rang-Thap Cham city in Ninh Thuan province, the largest grape producing area in Vietnam. Ba Moi grape farm in Hiep Hoa hamlet, Ninh Phuoc district, is a famous vineyard and unique eco-tourism destination.

(VOVWORLD) - The 100-year-old Ba Dai boat building village in Long Hau commune in Dong Thap province was recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2015. Although the village hasn’t been as busy as in the past, dozens of local households are determined to find ways to preserve their traditional craft.

(VOVWORLD) - Bau Truc village in Ninh Thuan province is famous for a pottery-making craft handed down from Poklong Chanh, a mandarin in the reign of King Po Klong Garai from 1151 to 1205. After nearly a thousand years, the Cham villagers still make pottery completely by hands. Their village is one of the oldest pottery villages in Southeast Asia.

(VOVWORLD) - An Hai commune in Ninh Phuoc district is a large asparagus growing area in Ninh Thuan province. Thanks to the profitability of asparagus, the lives of local farmers have improved dramatically.

(VOVWORLD) - Located 10 kilometers south of Phan Rang city, My Nghiep village in Ninh Thuan province, is a traditional brocade weaving village of the Cham ethnic people. Legend has it that, in the 17th century, a woman named Po Nagar, known as the founder the Cham people, who taught the Cham to work, produce, and live off the land, came to this area and passed on weaving to Ong Xa and Chaleng, a couple living in Ca Klaing village, now My Nghiep village. Since then, the traditional brocade weaving craft has been preserved and developed by villagers.
