Shivendu Paul told us that he listened to Voice of Vietnam via radio, webpage, and the VOV Media app. Due to recent frequency changes for summer broadcast, he couldn’t listen to VOV’s program on 7220khz. So he tuned to our program on the VOV Media app.

Rudolf, 74-years old, said listening to the radio has been his hobby since 1959. He has collected QSL cards or verification letters from many radio stations for FM and short wave programs.

(VOVWORLD) -Happy New Year to all our dear listeners. Today is the sixth day of the New Lunar Year. We’ve returned to work after the national New Year holiday week. We’re very happy to have received many New Year greetings and reception reports from listeners. Stories featuring Vietnam’s biggest festival of the year have received many compliments from listeners. That’s the best reward for our work.

(VOVWORLD) -Tet, the Lunar New Year celebration, is almost here. It’s just one week away. We can see, hear, and feel the festive atmosphere everywhere. Songs about Tet and spring are being played in shops, in offices, and on the street. Temporary flower markets are popping up in parks, public squares, and on busy corners. Shops are selling such Tet decorations as dog figurines and banners, posters, and cards carrying wishes of happiness, prosperity, and health for the New Year.
