The purpose of handing out the meals is to assist local people who have lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic and poor people from across the city. |
The event starts on July 7, 2021, and is due to last for 10 days. Benefactors are expected to provide between 1,500 and 1,700 meals to underprivileged individuals each day. |
Tieu Vy, Miss Vietnam 2018, says she is eager to take part in the charity to share difficulty local people, especially the poor, have experienced these days. |
Phuong Anh, the first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2020, expects nutritious meals will partly help the poor overcome the hard time. |
The charity also sees the participation of Ngoc Thao, the second runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2020 who says she is willing to make a contribution to the COVID-19 fight. |

Free meals are available for those in need at around 11:30 am and 5 pm every day. |
Free meals are also provided at various isolation areas throughout the city. |
