PM Chinh received a RMIT delegation led by President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Alec Cameron, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister applauded RMIT contributions, especially RMIT Vietnam, over the past 25 years in training high-quality human resources and boosting educational cooperation between Vietnam and Australia. He called on RMIT to continue to effectively develop its training programs in Vietnam, invest in facilities, strengthen its teaching staff, expand the scale of training, and diversify its fields of study, especially in digital technology, AI, green economy, innovation, and technology management.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister expressed his hope that the Australian Ambassador to Vietnam will continue to be a bridge to promote relations between the two countries, particularly in education and training.

Professor Cameron said he hopes RMIT will operate long-term in Hanoi and eventually expand its campus to Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to the development of the Vietnamese economy and helping Vietnam achieve its goals.
