(VOVworld) – On Thursday the National Assembly Ethnic Council held a training course on campaigning for ethnic candidates from 17 northern provinces to the upcoming National Assembly and People’s Council elections. Vice-chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong said ethnic candidates have the right to be trained in campaigning. During the two-day course, they will be taught how to present their programs of action, build their image, speak in public, and answer media questions.

The National Electoral Council will announce the final list on April 27. Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Le Ba Trinh said all candidates would have equal rights to campaigning.
