Vice President of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organisations Tran Thi Phuong said the contest aims to promote Hanoi as a ‘City for Peace’ and a ‘Creative City’, with its values of culture, civilization, modernity, and happiness.
"It also seeks to foster children’s love for their homeland and peace, while strengthening friendship between Vietnamese children and their international peers. The contest encourages children’s passion for painting and artistic creativity,” said Phuong.
