In his address, Minister Son highlighted the close coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Navy Command and expressed his hope that the two sides will continue to work closely to advise the Party and State guidelines and policies on the East Sea and territorial sovereignty.

The two sides will also promote and expand international cooperation with navies of neighboring coastal countries in order to protect national interests, fulfill foreign defense tasks, and comprehensively protect the country's territorial sovereignty.
