The events took place on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, at New City Park in Binh Duong ward, and at Ba Ria Square in Ba Ria ward. Performances featured songs praising the country’s revolutionary traditions, the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, while expressing love for the homeland and portraying the city’s dynamic, modern image.

At 9 p.m., the sky over Ho Chi Minh City lit up with vibrant colors as fireworks were launched simultaneously from eight locations across the city. The festive atmosphere left a strong impression on many international visitors.

“I was here last year for the 50th anniversary of the reunification day of Vietnam, with flags everywhere. It was beautiful, the atmosphere was very good,” said British tourists Ashley Stone.

“The people and their love is what we like to see. They’re proud of their country. They are celebrating the joy in the north and the south. We’re proud to be tourists,” British tourist Sandra Edwards told VOV.
