The competition also helped connect the industrial communities, businesses, and training centers in Vietnam and abroad. It was developed based on international technical standards, with three main categories: Manual Welding (MMA, MIG, TIG); Virtual Welding; and Cobot Welding.

The event is in line with the current global industrial transformation, in which high-quality vocational skills are crucial to national competitiveness.

On the sidelines of the competition were the 44th Asian Welding Federation (AWF) Meetings & 19th Asian Welding Technology & Application Forum.
