Highlights include a talk series about craft villages, the “Craft Villages Go Digital” training program, “Touch Creativity” and “Touch Tradition” zones, where visitors can interact with artisans and explore the history of Hoi An's traditional crafts and folk arts.
There are also handicraft workshops, tech zones to experience the latest GPS, QR, and AI applications, among a dozen other programs for exploring and connecting craft villages and creative spaces.
Visitors can also try out a demo digital map of Hoi An's art and creative spaces, check out a guidebook to Hoi An. These activities aim to fulfill Hoi An's commitments as a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
Another highlight is an art program titled "Touch Heritage, Touch Creativity”, where the stories of Hoi An's craft villages and folk arts are told through local distinctive local culture and heritages.
Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen, a visitor from Dak Lak, said: “Hoi An's craft villages are very well preserved. Today's program helped me appreciate the villages' distinctive features and hardworking craftsmen.”
