The opening night featured performances by Japanese J-pop artist Kawanishi Natsuki, South Korean artistic ensembles, and the Hue Royal Traditional Arts Theatre. In the days ahead, audiences will enjoy performances by French dance company Compagnie Hervé Koubi, Spanish flamenco group Las Migas, music group OJOS, Vietnamese singer My Anh, Australian artist Matthew Ifield, and many other international performers.
Vietnamese artists will also contribute to the festival’s diverse lineup, with highlights including a concert honoring the music of Trinh Cong Son on Sunday and a performance by singer Mono during the closing ceremony on June 18.
As one of the signature events of the Summer Festival within Hue Festival 2026, Hue International Music Week brings together artists, dance troupes, and performing arts groups from Vietnam and countries including France, Spain, Australia, Japan, and South Korea. Running from June 13 to 18, the event takes place in open-air venues and is free of charge for both residents and visitors.
