The provincial People’s Committee told a press conference on Monday that the Festival will feature more than 40 cultural, artistic, sports, and tourism activities and a series of side events from July 10 to August 10.
This is the first time, after 11 editions, that the event has been renamed from the Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival to the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival. Thai Thi Le Hang, Director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that during the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival, the province will continue promoting its image as a safe, friendly, and high-quality destination, honor the cultural values of the sea and islands; and strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, thereby contributing to tourism and local economic development.
“At the April 2 Square area, we have designated four zones where visitors and local residents can fully immerse themselves in the festival atmosphere. The audiences in the southern part of the province will be able to watch the events on LED screens and enjoy other artistic performances organized by the provincial Traditional Arts Theatre,” said Ms. Hang.
The opening ceremony will be staged on a grand scale, featuring advanced technology, 3D mapping projections, and fireworks. On the second day, a Carnival festival and tourism float parade will take place along Tran Phu Street. The closing program will be combined with the international mega music concert “Connecting the Five Continents.”
