At the award ceremony in Dak Lak Province on Sunday, first prize in the Robusta category was jointly awarded to Ant Bee Tea Coffee Company and producer Nguyen Son Tung, both from Lam Dong.
In the Arabica category, first prize went to Tamba Production and Services Company from Gia Lai Province.
The award for the most popular Robusta sample went to Bui Coffee Supply Company of Lam Dong, while the most popular Arabica sample was awarded to Vietnam Coffee Cooperative, also from Lam Dong.
“We have participated in the competition for seven years. A double-fermentation process, which helps create a more balanced flavor while preserving the bean’s structure, earned us first prize this year,” said Tuan Nhat of Ant Bee.
Held annually over the past eight years, the VietNam Amazing Cup has played an important role in strengthening the brand identity and commercial value of Vietnamese specialty coffee on the global coffee map.
This year’s competition attracted 81 participants from seven coffee-growing provinces nationwide.
