The program aims to promote high-quality and efficient growth in the private sector through sustainable business practices, ensuring a balance between economic efficiency, social responsibility, and environmental protection. It also aims to obtain the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 and Vietnam’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
It also targets to build a supportive ecosystem for sustainable business practices among enterprises, household businesses, and cooperatives, helping create jobs, improve the livelihoods of low-income and vulnerable groups, protect the environment, and strengthen climate resilience in Vietnam.
Between 2026 and 2030, at least 20 exemplary models of sustainable enterprises, household businesses, and cooperatives will be developed to encourage wider adoption of sustainable business practices.
