He made the remarks during a visit to Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences in Hanoi on Tuesday.

PM Chinh said that social sciences and humanities play a crucial role in strengthening the ideological foundation, shaping value systems, fostering cultural and intellectual development, promoting national unity, and enhancing international cooperation.

Social scientists constitute a vital force, contributing the ‘soul’ to national development by harnessing cultural identity, reinforcing internal strength, and enhancing the country’s soft power, he added.
